In Resident Evil 2 the G Adult (G成体 G Seitai?) has a health value of 600 points,[1] relative to the player maximum of 200 hp.[2] The G Young (G幼体 G Yōtai?) meanwhile have a health value of only 1-2.[1]

  • G Adult has a very slow movement and attack speed, tied with the Ivy creatures for the slowest enemy in the game.
  • G Adult has no grab move. Combining with the aformentioned speed, making it very safe to attack with the knife, even more so than zombies.
  • G Adult's scratch attack has a very slow wind-up time but has very good tracking. Once the attack starts, G Adult can perform an almost 180 degree swiping movement that can tracks a player who tries to circling it from the front all the way to the back.
  • G Adult can performs a quick-turn providing the player standing behind it. There are two variation of this: One where the G Adult simply turned towards the player and another where G Adult initiate the claw swipe attack first then spin towards the player, one must either back off or circling around the G Adult at the opposite side of it's dominant arm to avoid taking damage.
  • G Adult can vomit several G Youngs to help assists it against the player. There are maximum number that G Young can exists in a room, from 3 to 6 depending on the difficulties. If the maximum numbers is reached or more already existed in a room (typically seen in mods, engine hack or via Extreme Battle randomization) G Adult will not generate more G Youngs until its numbers has been reduced below the treshold.
  • G Adult is actually weak to the knife and has a special animation associate with it. When repeatedly hit by the knife, it's dominant arm will be violently severed, forcing the G Adult to fall down, unable to support its own weight and take several seconds to regenerate a new one. during the regeneration, the G Adult will be completely defenseless, allowing the player to attack with impunity.
