Game of Oblivion 7 is the seventh and final chapter of Resident Evil: The Darkside Chronicles's "Game of Oblivion" storyline, a retelling of Resident Evil CODE:Veronica.

Plot

Claire is awoken in the Arklay Research Facility main hall replica by Chris Redfield, her formely lost brother. After a short reunion, they are interrupted by Alexia Ashford, now fully awake. She mentions Steve being in the colosseum, and the two quickly set off to find him. When they do, Steve reveals that he has been injected with the Veronica virus, and mutates into a large monster shortly after. Claire and Chris regrettably engage him in a battle, during which he is impaled by his own axe. Alexia's tentacles attack the duo, ensnaring Claire and holding her for Steve to deliver a finishing blow. Instead, Steve cuts the tentacles, and is quickly impaled by one in response. Now gravely injured, Steve reverts to his human form once more, before muttering to Claire the words; "I love you." Chris will go on ahead plant a bomb in the power room. Claire is coming with him, sworn to Steve that Alexia must be stopped and they will be free. The Redfields set off once again face off Alexia in her chamber, where she revealed she had killed Alfred simply because he wasn't fun and failed to wake her up on time. Disgusted, Claire questioned if Alexia wanted to make everyone else to serve her, but Alexia replied that she wanted everyone to serve her experiments before transforming into her mutated form. After fighting through three of her mutations, they finally destroy her with the Linear Launcher. After returning for Steve's body, they find it missing. An engraving on the wall where his body once lay boldly stated; "I won this game". A black S.T.A.R.S. knife impaled the wall at the end, with Chris knowing exactly who it belonged to. After preparing to leave in their Harrier, Claire and Chris spot Wesker staring at them as they take off. After the Redfield siblings are escaping, the self-destruct sequence reaches its end, and another Umbrella facility is reduced to rubble.
