Giant Majini were among the victims of human experimentation conducted by Tricell Inc., Africa in its Plaga Type 3 biological weapons trial. The trials, which took place in 2008 on the Ndipaya people, identified the Plagas' ability to induce mutation in the host, among those being gigantism.[1] During the clinical trial the Ndipaya declared themselves to be at war and donned traditional wartime clothing; using their increased height and strength to their advantage, the Giants donned heavy ceremonial elephant masks and were armed with purpose-built maces containing human skulls,[2] possibly those of slain enemies kept as trophies. All Giants are believed dead following the 2009 Kijuju Autonomous Zone Incident.
