Further notes

The Glasp was created naturally by the t-Phobos Virus that spread throughout Sein Island.[1] As described in two notes, one in a residential building near the tower, and another in the tower itself, Glasp is formed almost immediately after contracting the T-Phobos virus, however, they do not state how the mutant arose, only that the victim immediately transforms into an insect-like thing as described in a note, where is stated that one researcher named Gregory has turned into Glasp, apparently being able to speak some words that describe how painful it is and he stated that he wanted to commit suicide, what he done. As it can be seen, after the person mutating into Glasp, the visible human features are face with some gray hair attached, the front part of the body, and the almost not changed human legs. The skull split in half and the brain atrophied, forming a jaw-like opening which Glasp could open freely, turning the pelvic and abdominal areas into a large, bulbous structure. Human hands have disappeared to almost nothing but the tiny claws of an insect. On the sides of the body, 3 pairs of insect wings developed. Several short spikes grew on the legs, and the heels formed in the insect's legs. 3 pairs of large insect legs also grew from the back area. The spine broke in half, which, as in the case of the skull, forms an oblong jaw-like opening. It can produce a kind of special gas that contains chemical components which can cause abnormalities in the optic nerves of living creatures, and it can also mimic the scenery by diffracting ambient light, allowing it to stealthily approach and attack prey without being seen. With strong, vice-like legs, it can not only grip and hold on to prey, but also easily break a human spine in half. [excerpt 1] When it captures prey, it will feed its offspring by releasing them from its body onto the victim.

excerpts
  1. Excerpt from Ultimania:
