The Globster is an irregular mutant created through the t-Abyss virus. Their name is short for "Grotesque Blob Monster".
History[]
The Veltro agents on board the Queen Dido were transformed into these beasts during the Terragrigia Panic. While a number of them died in mid-transformation (likely when the ship exploded), others managed to survive and thrived in the underwater conditions.[1] Over the following year, escaped Globsters washed-up on beaches in the Mediterranean and elsewhere in the world they had ventured to, where they soon after died.[2][excerpt 1] Prior to their arrival on Queen Zenobia, BSAA agents Jill Valentine and Parker Luciani were investigating Globster sightings near Terragriga. The following day Valentine and Chris Redfield ventured into the Queen Dido's sunken wreck, where they were forced evade Globsters that were actively preying on Mediterranean fish.[3]
