God, or, Mr. G is the name of a senior member of the Umbrella Corporation. He is described as having a net worth of $100 billion, with billions in investment. He assembled a six-part plan - referred to as the "Biohazard" plan.[excerpt 1][excerpt 2] He named himself as such due to his megalomaniac belief that he really was the only being worthy of being referred to by that name.[excerpt 3]
Biography
As the Umbrella headquarters was under attack, God entered a chamber so he could go into surgery. The purpose of the surgery was to remove his brain for safe exit. It would be kept alive and kept with the Joker, so that he could find new life by taking over someone else's body.
