Gregorio Salazar, 3rd Count of Valdelobos was a Spanish nobleman and Count of Valdelobos. He inherited his titles from his father, Hipólito Salazar, 2nd Count of Valdelobos, and earned the moniker "The Architect". During his lifetime, Salazar Castle was attacked by Plaga-infected arthropods which led to his father's death. Salazar was overcome by a madness and bankrupted the family treasury on a massive expansion project for the castle to ward off future attacks. He was succeeded by his son, José Alonso Salazar, 4th Count of Valdelobos.[1]
