Hideyuki Ishizeki (いしぜきひでゆき ) is a Japanese writer.
Career[]
Ishizeki studied under Kazuo Koike as part of his Gekiga Sonjuku school, which taught manga art and writing, and worked for publications such as Monthly Shounen Jump. In 1998 he was recruited by Yoshiki Okamoto for the newly established Flagship company, led by himself and Noboru Sugimura. As a writer, Ishizeki worked on Resident Evil CODE:Veronica and Resident Evil 0 in 1998.[2] Following the closure of Flagship in 2006, Ishizeki went freelance, doing the story for Genji: Days of the Blade in Okamoto's Game Republic, and after which the story to Elvania Story by Spike. In 2009, Ishizeki became a professor of the Osaka Electro-Communication University, teaching at the Department of Digital Art and Animation.[3]
