Hiro Wesker was one of the thirteen members of Project W, a eugenics project started by Oswell E. Spencer to educate the candidates for the Progenitor Virus infection to create a loyal band of ideologically aligned superhumans. Hiro was believed to be dead following the Progenitor exposure.[1]
