Ian Montgomery was an Umbrella-employed helicopter pilot.
Biography
During the 2002 viral infestation in Raccoon City, Ian remained above City Hall while awaiting Major Timothy Cain's return. When Cain was killed, he instead rescued a group of survivors led by Alice Abernathy. Despite escaping the explosion, the shockwave sent the helicopter crashing deep in the Arklay Mountains. Dr. Sam Isaacs' expedition to find the crash site confirmed the death of Ian, and the near-death status of Alice.[1][2]
