"An infinite amount of ammo. It'll never run out no matter how much you use."
— Inventory description

The Infinite Ammo (無限弾薬 mugen dan'yaku?) is an unlockable item that appears in Resident Evil 7: Biohazard.

Gameplay[]

Main game[]

After clearing the game on Madhouse difficulty, the Infinite Ammo will be put in the Item Box on subsequent playthroughs and will refresh in the item box should players discard it. The item must be put in the player's inventory for it to function. The Infinite Ammo applies to all weapons except the Remote Bomb, and eliminates the need to carry separate ammunition for different weapons (enhanced ammo and differing grenade round types inclusive).

Nightmare[]

Infinite Ammo appears in Nightmare Mode as the last unlockable crafting item in the minigame, costing a whopping 10,000,000 points to unlock. Like the Circular Saw, crafting this item will penalize the player with a 0.01x multiplier to all points upon completion of the mode. This, however, is negligible since it is the last unlockable item.

It should be noted that players who crafted both the Circular Saw and Infinite Ammo will only be penalized with one 0.01x multiplier, rather than two.[1]

Not a Hero[]

After clearing Not a Hero on Professional difficulty, the Infinite Ammo will be put in the Item Box on subsequent playthroughs and will refresh in the item box should players discard it. The item must be put in the player's inventory for it to function. The Infinite Ammo applies to all weapons except grenade-type weapons, and eliminates the need to carry separate ammunition for different weapons (RAMRODs inclusive).

End of Zoe[]

Infinite Ammo cannot be obtained in End of Zoe, and is instead replaced by Infinite Weapons after clearing all Extreme+ Challenges.
