Prime universe
(Capcom's primary storyline)

Irma Wesker (イルマ・ウェスカー Iruma Wesukā?) was a candidate in Project W, a top-secret eugenics project masterminded by Dr. Oswell E. Spencer, Earl Spencer. Abducted from her family at a young age in the 1960s and given the surname "Wesker", Irma was given the finest education money could afford and tought to see life in the same way Spencer did. In the 1990s, she was among thirteen candidates deemed suitable to advance to the second stage of the project, and was infected with a prototype t-Virus strain engineered explicitly for this project. Soon after, Irma was reported dead, possibly having died as a result of the mutations.[1]
