The Jail Breaker is a weapon featured in Resident Evil 5. It is found at the bottom of the deep stairwell inside the ship in Chapter 6-1, before your encounter with Excella.
Gameplay[]
It has a starting firepower of 180, reload speed of 2.52 seconds, a capacity of 5, and an attack range of 0. Fully upgraded, it has a firepower of 350, reload speed of 1.82 seconds, capacity of 15, and an attack range of 3.
Though it may look like it has the least firepower, its attack range upgrade increases not only the spread, but also the amount of pellets fired, essentially making it deal more damage than the other shotguns (except for the Hydra), meaning it is one of the strongest shotguns available. It also has the shortest reload speed and the second fastest rate of fire.
This weapon is good at taking out a group of enemies quickly at close range.
In The Mercenaries, it is used by Sheva Alomar in her Clubbin' costume and in The Mercenaries Reunion by Rebecca Chambers.

It takes a total of ₦85,000 to buy and fully upgrade the Jail Breaker or just ₦81,000 because the player and obtain the weapon itself found in game.

*Attack Range upgrades increase shot pellets by 50% each level - effectively doubling pellets from 7 to 15 and scatter spread shell shot to equal 24 degree when fully upgraded.
