Jane Doyle was an Umbrella Corporation employee. She was responsible for informing via e-mail Dr. William Birkin of his removal from the position of chief researcher at NEST and the suspension of the G-Virus project in 1998. However, as he was suspected of violating his contract with the company by making unauthorized contact with the US armed forces, Jane sent a warning Birkin to respond to the investigation committee's call.[1]
