John Fay was an Umbrella employee hired to take part in their t-Virus research.

Biography

John accepted their offer under the impression that he was working on a cancer treatment project to engineer a virus to fight cancer cells. His knowledge of Umbrella's projects were extremely limited, only being involved in a single practical experiment, known as subject "MA-39", which was a doberman; he had no knowledge about the human supersoldier project other than that there was an experiment subject dubbed T-002. His mental capacity gradually deteriorated as Umbrella's mutanogenic virus spread across the facility. He kept his sanity by constantly writing to his girlfriend, Ada, lasting until July 1998 when S.T.A.R.S. officer Jill Valentine found him and killed him.
