Jose was a Raccoon City citizen in employment of Raccoon Zoo. He bought a case of shotgun shells from George Kendo. Driving his van to the gas station to refill the tank, he was attacked by a zombie fuel attendant. Dropping his cigarette onto the fuel-stained tarmac, the station exploded, killing Jose and his attacker.
