Keith R. A. DeCandido (born April 18, 1969, in New York, United States) is an American sci-fi and fantasy writer. He was the author of the three published novelizations of the Resident Evil movies: Resident Evil: Genesis (2004), Resident Evil: Apocalypse (2004), and Resident Evil: Extinction (2007).
Fifteen years later, DeCandido returned to the series to pen the five-issue comic book series Resident Evil: Infinite Darkness - The Beginning (2022). Unlike his previous works however, The Beginning is set in the Prime universe and serves as a prequel to the CG series RESIDENT EVIL: Infinite Darkness (2021).
