Hata was a member of the motion capture department for the remake of Resident Evil; a Motion Capture coordinator for Resident Evil 0, and a stunt supervisor for Resident Evil Outbreak and a Motion Actor for Resident Evil: Dead Aim. Hata is also credited as the Resident Evil 4 MoCap technical advisor and Bitores Mendez and Ramon Salazar's motion capture actors.
