In an interview, Kevin revealed that he was initially set to reprise his role as Chris in Resident Evil 5. However, his commitment to James Cameron's Avatar filming in New Zealand led to a scheduling conflict, preventing him from returning to the role. Consequently, Capcom made the decision to recast the character.[7] Kevin also confirmed that his voice can be heard in one of the trailers for RE5, which he recorded during his work on Resident Evil: The Umbrella Chronicles.[8]
