The key for the power area is a key item that can be used in the original 1996 Resident Evil and its 2002 remake. It is known as P. Room Key in Resident Evil: Deadly Silence.
Purpose
It is used to unlock the Power chamber passage from the Central cloister of the laboratory B3.
Location
The Key can be found inside the Image preparation room in both original Resident Evil and its remake. In the original game, player can press the button on the panel right located on right side of the room where the pillar will move to reveal the key. In the 2002 remake however, the key can only be obtained inside a small room which require four passcode (8, 4, 6, and 2) to enter.
