"A grail with a decoration of a king." — Item examination |
The King's Grail is a key item in Resident Evil 4. Its Japanese name translates more towards King's chalice (王の聖杯 Ō no seihai ), implying it had use in the Eucharist.
Purpose
This item and the Queen's Grail are placed on the statues in the castle lobby at the end of a long northbound corridor. Once they are placed on their respective statues, the door to the dance hall is opened.
Location
The King's Grail appears in Chapter 4-1. It is recovered in a room surrounded by knight statues. When obtained, the door locks and the player must fight them as Armadura. It is not obtained on Easy mode, it should be noted; to simplify the game at that stage, it is already set on the statue.
