Kyle Brendan (デレック・アズーラ kairu burendan) was an inmate at Douglas Prison, located in Raccoon City.[1][2]
Biography[]
Kyle Brendan was serving time at Douglas Prison in Raccoon City. On August 30th, 1996, he became the central figure in a failed prison escape attempt—the fourth such incident at the facility that year. The prison had been previously criticized for outdated security systems and deteriorating infrastructure.
Kyle allegedly received inside help from prison guard Derek Azula, with whom he was acquainted. Though the breakout attempt was ultimately unsuccessful, the incident raised serious concerns about internal corruption and security within the prison.
While Kyle was recaptured, questions about staff involvement lingered. Derek refused to comment on the matter, and no further public updates were released about Kyle’s status following the event.
