"Labcoat Zombie" (d. 1 October 1998) was an Umbrella researcher who lived in Raccoon City, where he aided bioweapons research at the top-secret NEST complex. In 1998, an accident at the lab resulted in an outbreak of T-virus; "Labcoat Zombie" contracted Cannibal Disease and suffered mental lapses while at the Spencer Mansion. On the night of 30 September, S.T.A.R.S. officer Enrico Marini entered the mansion to investigate a body report, and was attacked and mutilated by Labcoat Zombie. S.T.A.R.S. officer Chris Redfield attempted to arrest the man, but he was noncompliant and was shot repeatedly while heading towards him.[1]

- Labcoat Zombie was played by actor Matthew MacCallum, who was familiar with "Turning Around Zombie" and requested he play this specific Zombie in the film.[2]
