The Lantern is a key item in Resident Evil 7: Biohazard. It was carried by Marguerite Baker to which she used to control her insects since they are attracted to light, just like normal insects. Like an insect, Marguerite was really attached to her lantern and would not allow anyone to take it from her, always hoarding it for herself. She often becomes antsy and aggressive if someone takes her lantern.
Purpose[]
The Lantern is required to access much of the top floor of the old house, with one door close to the stairs requiring two equally-balanced lanterns to unlock it. I
Location[]
The Lantern is retrieved when killing Marguerite Baker in the greenhouse.
