Lantern (ランタン rantan) is an item in Resident Evil 7: Biohazard.
Purpose[]
The Lantern is used to see better in the Master Bedroom, since its a little bit dark. It is also used to gain access to the shadow puzzle in the storage room to get the Snake Key, which is the key item that is required in order to fully escape the room and from Marguerite Baker.
Location[]
The Lantern is brought to the bedroom by Marguerite while she was bringing supper for Clancy. She will place the Lantern on a hook, the player can pick it up afterwards.
