Leaving the Mystery Behind (David) is a cutscene in Resident Evil Outbreak. It serves as one of the endings to the "flashback", through the eyes of David King. It can be unlocked on the Collections menu for 500 points.^[1]

Plot[]

With the Monster Plant killed, the abandoned hospital begins to collapse. David King reflects on his experience, there.

Transcript[]

David King: "Clearing away those damn plants wasn't enough to get us get out of the city. Suppose I knew this kinda shit would happen. Man's got his limits and I've just about reached mine..."

David King: うっとうしい毒花は一掃したが隣町への道とやらは見つからない
どうせそんなことだろうと思っちゃいたが
俺のガマンにも限界はあるさっさとケリをつけさせてくれ…
