He was sent to a remote area of South America on Government orders to investigate Umbrella's relationship to drug lord Javier Hidalgo.
Having encountered numerous B.O.W.s in the past, he has a working knowledge of how to engage B.O.W.s in combat.
Though generally a cool character, he tends to be awkward around women. His middle name is Scott.
