Below is a list of all individual types of zombies encountered in the Resident Evil titles. Note that this page is not ordered by individual skins, but "types", which may consist of several skins. This page doesn't include C-Virus zombies.

Antarctic Worker Zombie

Resident Evil CODE:Veronica, Resident Evil: The Darkside Chronicles

The Antarctic Worker Zombie, otherwise known as Worker Zombie (Laboratory) (作業員ゾンビ(研究所) Sagyō-in zonbi (kenkyūjo)?) is a zombie type encountered at the Antarctic Base. They wear yellow uniforms to distinguish them from the white-clothed research staff. These zombies were infected by infested aircraft flying in from Rockfort Island. Antarctic Worker Zombies who are attacked by Moths will become "Parasite Zombies".[excerpt 1] Various guidebooks make sure to distinguish them from other Worker Zombies.[1]

The Bomb Zombie (爆弾ゾンビ Bakudan zonbi?) is a rare zombie type. The first appearance is in CODE:Veronica, where it has been strapped up by Wesker's operatives and is encountered by Chris Redfield on Rockfort Island.[1] A second Bomb Zombie appears in the 2002 remake's "One Dangerous Zombie" mode. This zombie's appearance is similar to S.T.A.R.S. Bravo Team member Forest Speyer. It will follow the player across the game and blow itself and the player up in an attack, forcing the player to take constant detours.[2]
