This is a list of all the survivor encounters in Resident Evil 3: Nemesis.

Jack Street survivor

At the beginning of the game, when Jill is passing by the business area of Jack Street for the first time, she will hear a man screaming in pain. Following the sound, she heads to the alleyway that leads to the backdoor of Bar Jack only to find out that the man is dead, being be devoured by two zombies.

When the two zombies see Jill, they will lose interest on the man's corpse and attack her. If you wait some time in the area (around 60 seconds) he will reanimate and attack Jill.

 Fission Street fleeing girl

After leaving the Warehouse, if you re-enter on the store area of the Fission Street by the backdoor of Bar Jack, Jill will hear a woman screaming "Help!" in despair.

Following the sound, you will see a young woman running away from two zombies that are chasing her. If you follow her at the front of the passage to Warehouse, it's possible to hear her screaming "No...!" and the scream is suddenly interrupted. Entering the passage, you will find her dead body beside a zombie, suggesting it killed her. No matter how long the player remains in the area she will not reanimate, however a editated version of her corpse is used as a template for female zombies.

Warren Street unseen shooter

When Jill enters the cross of the Ennerdale Street and Warren Street (there are some zombie dogs lurking around) for the first time, she will hear distant gunshots and a male voice screaming "No!". Both the voice and the gunshots stop shortly after, suggesting the man has been killed.

More forward, when Jill goes to the front of the Downtown Parking Lot, beside the crashed bus, she finds a zombie dog in special leaving a UBCS mercenary's corpse who has been bitten on the neck, suggesting that he was the one shooting before being killed by the dog, but there's not confirmation of this. Unlike the two others, the UBCS' corpse is not a template for zombies in the game and re-appear only in the construction area as another dead UBCS mercenary apparently killed by Drain Deimos.

Further notes

  • The man killed in the Jack Street looks like a template for civilians (image) seen in Resident Evil: The Missions, Biohazard: The Stories and Biohazard: The Episodes.
  • Later on the game, in the Clock Gallery there's a corpse of a UBCs mercenary holding a dead girl (image) very similar to the fleeing girl seen on the Fission Street. That's a possible easter egg.
  • There is no way to save the Fission Street's girl: you can avoid the two zombies, but it's impossible reach her in time before she enter on the passage because she is faster than Jill. Also, if you go to the Fission Street passing by the basement area, when you approach to the front of the Warehouse passage, you will hear the girl screaming "No...!" and she is found dead beside the zombie in the same manner. However, you can end the game without seeing this scene. Some fans from the series believe that she's Lucia Rosso, Dario Rosso's daughter mentioned by him in the game begin, but this is this is contradicted in the Dario's memo: "My wife, daughter, mother... my entire family has been killed"
  • The shots heard in the Warren Street are similar to a Machine Gun, but you don't find it on the UBCS' corpse. You can pick up a Gun Powder B off the mercenary's dead body.
