The Loading screens in the Resident Evil 2 remake only appear during the first build up of the game and if the player dies. They display an image related to the current location of the character and a text with an overview of the story up until the point being played or a gameplay tip.

Screens related to the story are usually displayed upon the first load, while the ones related to tips are displayed when the player dies.
