Lock Pick (キーピック kīpikku) is an item in Resident Evil 7: Biohazard and Resident Evil 7 Teaser Demo: Beginning Hour. They disappear from the player's inventory after they are used.
Purpose
Lock Picks are used to open specific locks.
In Resident Evil 7 Teaser Demo: Beginning Hour, there is locked drawer in the kitchen that contains the Axe during present time. The same locked drawer can be unlocked while watching the "Derelict House Footage" to also unlock it during the present.
The same function happens in the full game.

Not a Hero
One Lock Pick can be found while playing the “Derelict House Footage” in the kitchen, on the floor behind the microwave. Another is located during the present in the basement on the radiator by the stairs.
