The timeline was published on Resident Evil Portal's Title lineup section and was made to help audiences enjoy the newly released Resident Evil: Welcome to Raccoon City movie.

It consists of two columns listing the video games titles on the left and the movies in the main series on the right, with Resident Evil: Welcomne to Raccoon City also listed but noted to be in a different timeline. Each title has a note saying what in-universe event it covers. Below the graphic is a section listing the live-action series of movies.

Each title can be clicked to bring up its date in the timeline, date released (only in the Japanese webpage), a list of its main characters, a plot summary, and a further link to the product's website.
