Luis's Key is a key item that appears in Resident Evil 4.
Purpose[]
Unlocks Luis's Laboratory.
Once the key is used, it can be sold to the Merchant for 2,500₧.
Location[]
It was given to Leon by a dying Luis Serra near the end of Chapter 11.

- This key item originally had a critical bug in which it would not be given to the player if they attacked with the knife during the period where the key item is automatically given.[1] Due to the nature of this item where it's only used much later after acquiring it, many players had no choice but to start the game again from the very beginning unless they saved their progress on separate slots with the Typewriter. The bug was eventually fixed on April 23, 2023.[2]
