M1897 is a weapon in Resident Evil Village.
Location[]
In the Resident Evil Village Gameplay Demo, it is found inside the house to the left after passing through the Church.
In the main game it can be found on a kitchen table in the building Ethan has to hold out in from the Lycans. It is in the two story building with a hole in the bedroom floor. Alternatively, it can also be found next to the typewriter in the Church if the user did not pick it up earlier.
In the Shadows of Rose, it can be found inside the locked cabinet on the Dining Room's south side. You need to use the Triocular Key to open it.
Gameplay[]
The M1897 is primarily the first shotgun Ethan will obtain in the main story. It can be upgraded with the Hair Trigger custom part. The Mr. Raccoon Weapon Charm can also be equipped on it, but it won't make the weapon any stronger.
Players can also use The Duke to upgrade the weapon's firepower, among other things.
