Main Street A (メインストリートA Mein sutorīto A) is an area of Waiyip.[1]
Description[]
Main Street A is a staging ground for the BSAA operation in Lanshiang and is populated by fleeing civilians and news media reporting close to the fighting.
Guide[]
Little is done in this area, existing only to set the scene. At the start the player will be approached by a TV reporter and cameraman as civilians rush past them. Further up the road a Gambit will speed off to meet with another while two BSAA operators wait behind a police cruiser. As the player reaches the two Gambits, a J'avo will fire an RPG at them, destroying them. This ultimately forces the player to enter an indoor market to navigate around them. Approaching the door will trigger a civilian to rush past the player in the process.
It should be noted that the Reporter and camerman NPCs will remain in this room until the player makes their way through the market. Initially the Reporter will repeat his dialogue, later replaced with lip animations and once the Gambits explode he will remain motionless.
