The Arklay laboratory, one of Umbrella's research facilities, was designed to look like a mansion and constructed deep in the Raccoon Forest at the foot of the Arklay mountains. The Mansion Incident refers to Weskers vile plan to lure the S.T.A.R.S. to the mansion in order to provide combat data for the B.O.W.s (Bio-Organic Weapons) that had been developed at the laboratory.
アークレイ山中のラクーンフォレストの奥地に建てられたアンブレラの研究施設「アークレイ研究所」。その仮の姿である洋館にてウェスカーに誘導されたS.T.A.R.S.隊員が巻き込まれた惨事。ウェスカーの狙いはS.T.A.R.S.隊員とB.O.W.(生物兵器)との戦闘データ収集であった。
