Masami Ueda ( 上田雅美 ueda masami ) is a composer of videogame music who has helped score several installments of the Resident Evil series.
Career[]
Masami Ueda was one of three composers for the original Resident Evil. Co-composers Makoto Tomozawa and Akira Kaida did not return to the series. Ueda further worked with the Resident Evil 2 team and later Resident Evil 3: Nemesis, which he worked on alongside BIOHAZARD 4, a PlayStation 2 game which was cancelled and turned into Devil May Cry. Later, Ueda joined the Clover Studios team. When this closed after a 2006 dissolution order, Ueda moved on with much of its staff to SEEDS, which later became Platinum Games.
