Mastermind is a class of playable characters in Resident Evil: Resistance.


Mastermind is the character class that plays solo against a team of 4 Survivors in the main game mode. It is their goal to reach to make the game clock reach 0.

Masterminds are played in a non-present manor and instead are played through Security Cameras in specific predetermined placement throughout the Maps and have limited control of where they can be aimed, and can not move them.

While in control of a Security Camera, Bio Energy can be used to spawn cards from the Deck to attack Survivors with. Masterminds also have access to the Environment Interaction System command to affect aspects of the environment and each Mastermind has a unique Ultimate Skill.

Only Annette Birkin is initially playable. Each following character is unlocked by reaching Rank 5 with the previously listed character.

When problems arise for Umbrella, Daniel Fabron makes sure they go away.

Under the direct order of Spencer, Fabron assists Alex with her research: building facilities, kidnapping subjects, and the occasional experiment. He has a knack for controlling creatures and takes pleasure in using them to savor the thrill of the kill up close and personal.

Alex Wesker, Chief Researcher.

Responsabilities include acquiring subjects, carrying out experiments, and reporting fingins to sponsor Mr. Ozwell E. Spencer. Her acute foreshight contributes to the frequent and effecting usage of trap-type devices to stimulate virus mutation. User and developer of the bioweapon, "Yateveo."

One of the founders of Umbrella, Ozwell e. Spencer refuses to face his own mortality.

He was deeply intrigued by Alex's reports of a virus mutation that granted superhuman abilities without altering the subject's physiology, and decided to take part in the experiments himself. He uses inscrutable Umbrella technology to turn the battle in his favor.

RERES Nikolai Nikolai Zinoviev Firearms, Tracking

Nicholai Ginovaef's incentive for participating in these experiments is strictly monetary.

His experience as a mercenary forged him into a skilled marksman and shrewd opportunist. Even if the Survivors manage to escape from his arsenal, they will soon be hunted down by the ever-persistent Nemesis.
