The Handgun is the official sidearm of the U.B.C.S. mercenaries in Resident Evil 3: Nemesis. The weapon is identified as a SIGPRO SP2009 in the examine screen.

Gameplay

The SIGPRO is essentially a copy of Jill's Beretta with a different skin, with the same capacity of 15 rounds.

The player can equip this weapon when playing as Carlos Oliveira, during his mission to find a vaccine for Jill.

Nikolai Zinoviev utilizes the SIGPRO as his primary weapon, while Brad Vickers is seen using it in the alley behind Bar Jack and then inside the bar.

The Mercenaries

Nikolai uses the SIGPRO as his only firearm in the mini-game, along with a knife. He can load the SIGPRO with special Enhanced Bullets.
