So, instead of actually being mature you're going to lash out and insult pretty much anyone who doesn't have an account on this place? That's really going to REALLY convince people to join this place, I'm just a lurker and I'm actually insulted by how you're pretty much shitting on every anonymous user who ventures on this wiki. He might be wrong, I don't really care if he is as I have no real intention of staying here long term if this is how long term users treat anonymous users.
It'd also be pretty nice if you sourced this information as anyone can say "unused" content and say that Jill was actually intended to be a super secret character in the game, so I've removed it. Provide a source and it can stay, quite simple.
"the source is the game files" "you'd know this if you'd look"
You don't strike me as someone who's entirely there in the head, because you're expecting someone to just know how to rip into a games files which not everyone's going to know how to do, and I don't hence I asked for a source. Simply saying "it's in the files, check yourself" doesn't even argue your case, it makes it rather lazy and also doesn't make it seem any stronger which in turn is going to make your claim looks less credible if you're not coming forward and providing it.
And I already said how stupid it is to just pull the unused card, anyone can bullshit unused content in the files and not even be questioned because not everyone's going to know how and they're going to take people's word for it.
Even if this information is true, you're still an asshole because people don't believe shit you've put and then you go on a baby sperg out and insult anyone who doesn't have an account.
The files aren't that hard to get into actually. All you have to do is download an ADX file converter and you can convert it to wav or something and listen to it that way. The Dreamcast audio format (which some other game console games also use) is well documented and it just takes a google search to find an ADX file converting program. And for the record, I've shared said audio files with the owner of this wiki so he can confirm my claims true.
Before you continue adding the Outbreak table to pages, I think we need to make sure everyone agrees on what goes on it (also I didn't finish making it). The info is being taken from a source and translated, so to keep it accurate the idea is to not modify it, hence why I also included the format of how the numbers were presented. "Vitality" should be just "xxxx~xxxx" as it is in the book. If we want to describe if it is a relatively high or low amount, I think it would be best to have a writing outside the table that could include other comparisons.
Besides it being best to not to change "Model" to "Character type" because of translating, its actually not that weird sounding. Model doesn't just refer to just how things look visually. It can be used to say something follows any kind of template, base, structure, pattern. In this case, its say which of the default characters this characters' abilities and animations follow as a model.
I understand in the context of video games most people would assume visual graphics when model is mentioned, but its not implicit and should be clear its not when there's also an appearance section. Perhaps a simple solution could be have it say "Model" and include an explanation that pops up when someone hovers their cursor over the word. If not, we could do it vise versa where we use our own words and have a hover note explaining what the actual translation is.
Yooo, I just saw your edit with all the references. Do you have access to the Outbreak bible and can view the actual tables? If so, we can set it up to make a note on the table that "The following is from this source", there's no rush, we can discuss it next time you're on chat.
Well that might be a little confusing. You see, they use the animations and abilities from their base characters, not the actual model. That's why I put in character type instead. Though if you don't like that, then I guess I could change it back. Seems kinda strange to say "model" instead of "character type" if you ask me though. *shrugs* but whatever.
Just wanted to drop by and say thanks for all the amazing work you've been doing on the stats for all the Outbreak characters -- I'm loving how complete the info is all becoming thanks to your dedication to your project!
