Hello. I asked Forerunner, how should I call the name of the scenes. He replied to name them after OSTs they are using, like I did in RE3 scene articles.
Add more cutscene pages in the template of Resident Evil 7: Biohazard Cutscenes, please. Right after you create more RE7 cutscene pages with posted videos in it. I’m just saying.
Floating In-Between, Temper Tantrum and Daidara-bocchi soundtracks scenes are tightly crossing because of the game script intensively developing to it's logical end.
Just a heads up: the RE4 kaitaishinsho guide points out that Chapter 5-4 ends in the cutscene where Ashley and Leon get their Plagas removed. The boss fight is in a different level called "Final Chapter".
Thanks for the note. The Final chapter has 7 unique cutscenes + ending of the whole game. I suppose the cutscene article must be named Final Chapter - scene 1, Final Chapter - scene 2, etc. Am I right? :)
I reorganized the Assault Shotgun (ORC) to appear more clean and follow standards. Do you think you could try to model the rest of the pages after my edit?
Yeah, of course. That's great. But what to do with those weapons, that are rare can be met during the missions, like Juggernaut, Burst Rifle, etc? This table of 'Locations' would be almost empty. Or it's okay?
Valid point. Perhaps if the entire chart was smaller? Instead of names of the mission they can be changed into numbers.
Or simply not include spaces for stages they don't appear in at all?
I'd just rather not have a written out bullet point list of info, and I'd like the a visual that shows what number mission the guns appear in, since I and I don't think many people memorized the mission names.
I think, the first way of table is suitable. But maybe some kind of legend must be made, where those numbers are transcripted and linked to the actual mission names. But if the missions do not contain the weapons, the table may contain "-" sign in "On map?" column and "No" word in the table on "Enemy drop?" column.
The second way of the table is not suitable, 'cause some missions would have the silly tables :)
But I really like the table like you've already created in the Assault Shotgun page, but if all spaces in table are filled. Even if the article's space is occupied by that table. All weapons' pages could have the same table with different marks in it (except DLC weapons, Handguns, Advanced Machinegun and Arbiter, 'cause they cannot be found or dropped).
I talked it over with other users. We seem to mostly favor the second table I posted here. Number and names, and not include the missions it doesn't appear in.
Yeah, looks good. Except change the heading to "Locations" and add "Campaign locations" onto the table because maybe in time we could add multiplayer modes maps locations.
I've noticed that you've been adding videos on the RE6 cutscene pages, while we appreciate that you're doing this we noticed that these are videos from YOUR YouTube page. We're very cautious with self uploads in the idea that the person uploading could be attempting to perform self promotion and advertisement on the wiki.
Also should higher quality videos be found your videos will likely be replaced, in addition it'd have been appreciated if you asked before uploading the videos, in the past we've had to remove other users videos and it seems unfair that we could potentially be allowing you to have an exception.
Okay, that's fair. But the only purpose I've created the youtube account is for uploading the videos to wiki. I've already uploaded the whole set for RE3 and REORC. Because I saw lack of those on wikia and some of the cutscenes on youtube. But I wasn't even thinking about some sort of promotions or something :) So, if you find those cutscenes must be removed - do waht you have to do, I don't care. Thanks for the notice.
Yeah - I've noticed a lack of single-cutscene videos on YouTube when it comes to a lot of games, with them instead merged into "Movie" videos. Alternatively, there's a bunch of Resident Evil 5 cutscenes, but they're largely the characters in non-standard outfits.
Personally I have no problem with it due to the shortage of cutscene videos on YouTube. Had it been a gameplay video with watermarks and logo sequences everywhere, then there might be a problem - the reason why we'd be against the latter is because gameplay videos with commentaries can, with enough views, allow the uploader to become a Partner and be paid for their work. In that event, we'd be funding their campaign by allowing them to distribute their videos here.
But do remember, however, that while we are associated with a number of YouTubers (etc. williambirkin1, Glitchhunter), we currently don't have an independent YouTube partner. As such, your videos are not "protected" from another user's uploads.
I know you're from a non English speaking country, I'm not trying to sound harsh but some of the grammar you use is pretty poor, I recommend trying to find a good spell checker.
As we said earlier, we were in the middle of discussing our policy on ammo pages. Until we figure out the specifics please refrain from editing any pages. We are not saying no one is allowed to, or the information can't be there, we're just saying not to edit them for the time being.
GreenLizard, dearest of all my friends, when you create a page of an item or the location of it, try using the item's true name: i.e: the "Emblem Key" is the S.T.A.R.S. Key as you can see after it was checked, when you check the "Blue Gem" it then will be renamed as the "Sapphire". When you create the Item page, is better to use the "Fake name" first, and then rename the page with it's true name, so it redirects when someone search it by it's fake name. i.e: if you create the .ST.A.R.S. key page, name it "Empblem Key", after the article is done, click rename and add the true name: "S.T.A.R.S. Key. Always check items to reveal their "True Name".
Ok, I'll do like that. I thought, that it's better to give links to the simple names of items, but in the article of the item it must be payed attention to the real name. That was my plan, when I finish with "rooms". )
Yeah - we should create redirects (or disambig. pages if multiple items use that name - eg. "Mansion key") and include in the article "X is also known as Y before being examined."
Speaking of redirects, there is an article that can't be renamed, this one: H&K UMP. The name should be Heckler & Koch UMP, because all the other H&K guns are named like "Heckler & Koch" instead of "H&K".
http://residentevil.wikia.com/Part_of_the_Flower_Street_under_construction it is possible to get the Greande Rounds here even If you meet Nicholai in Stagla and Carlos in the Sale's Office. What you have to do is go for the Additive Oil first, so the zombies will appear here and they will break the car's door, and then go get the Machine Oil, otherwise you won't get them. I'm one of the few people around here that know this, after playing Resident Evil 3: Nemesis more than 50 times, I know every secret of the game.
