I was in the process of editting the Axeman page ... and before I was done (I was saving my work every so often), the page had been reverted back to it's original form. Any idea as to why this was, or what it was that I did wrong?
As Officials, you mean the Wikia staff? My advice? They will tell you that you have to notify an Admin, which would ask the moderator first "why would you ban this kid, bro??? If he is so nice and shizzle.?", And later, the admin would ask for proof <--Have been done) on the incident which led to your ban.
If you keep insisting, they will tell you "The moderators had right to do so because of eff you. Thank you verymuch GTFO". Or vice versa....
So basically you have to wait untill the ban ends. It is not like they will get their rights away by keeping the chat clean.
When authoring these messages, you need to point out specific things:
There is no active administration
The last admin. edit was over three months ago
If one has been logged in since then, explain why you don't think they're coming back.
Tell them that you are determined to clean up the wiki, and that you'll need admin. rights to make it effective.
Something about reviving the community by making it more attractive and getting friends to help.
Here's my example which you can base yours from:
I have been coming to this wiki for the past few months and have since noticed that it has become void of admins and other experienced users, and is now a potential breeding-ground for trolls.
The last admin edit was over a year ago when "Grim80" ([http://it.residentevil.wikia.com/wiki/Speciale:Utenti the only administrator]) announced that he was leaving to start his own website on the same topic. Although he has been logged in to Wikia as recently as today, his presence on another wiki suggests that he has no intention to return to the wiki.
I therefore ask for administrator rights to be handed over to me so I can clean it up. If given this right, I shall clear up the wiki and revive its community by making it more appealing to readers; I also know a number of people who have given support to this request and are also prepared to help me. I look forward to reading your reply. Sincerily, -- ~~~~
