Metal Scrap is a relatively rare crafting material that can be used to craft explosives and high-end ammo. All recipes involving Metal Scrap only require 1 of it to construct.

- Inside the bonnet of the rusted car in the Front Yard to the left of the doors leading into the factory.
- In the bonnet of the rusted car in the Disposal Chamber's middle.
- On the workbench on the B3 Storage's west side.
- On the small pile of junk in the Grinder Shaft Walkway's south east corner of the lower level.
- On the Ventilation Duct's southern edge.
- On the metal desk on the B1 Small Storage's north side.
