Michael Guthrie[1] was a S.T.A.R.S. member who served as a sniper. Whilst he spent his time covering his team in the Westwood Theatre below, killing zombies, he was unable to kill Matt Addison, who was shot at 4 times. Angered, the man stood up to reload, but froze when Matt aimed his Rocket Launcher at him. Muttering "Oh fuck" he turned and tried to get away, but was too slow as the rocket from the launcher blew up the roof, along with him.
Trivia
- His rifle is an Accuracy International L96A1.
- Paul W.S. Anderson's idea for Michael came from the scene with the rednecks shooting zombies in Dawn of the Dead (1978). Michael, like the rednecks, enjoyed the situation and enjoyed killing zombies.
- He slightly resembles Kevin Ryman from his happy-go-lucky attitude.
