Miguel was a Tricell employee and the developer of the Licker β B.O.W.,[1] having decided to experiment with infecting the t-Virus B.O.W. with the Progenitor Virus.[2] Miguel worked with the other Tricell employees in their Uroboros Laboratory in Africa, underneath the former Umbrella Corporation's facility.[3] He and the rest of the research staff are tricked by Tricell and Albert Wesker into thinking that they are given an early vacation period in the celebration of their work. Instead, they are rounded up and killed to prevent security-leaks regarding the Uroboros virus.[4]
