Modified Zombies (ゾンビ改 zonbi-kai), or "Naked Zombies", are descriptors for human test subjects for t-Virus research.[1] They were fought by survivors during viral outbreaks at several locations including the Arklay Laboratory, NEST and Sheena Island. Unlike most zombies, they don’t wear any clothes.
Biology[]
Modified Zombies are largely identical to those infected by secondary means, though their muscles are noticeably stronger. Their skin is deformed, baring multiple scars. They lack hair on the head and the rest of the body. Their vocal noises are projected as soft moans or shrill cries. Their movement is slow, but their inner body strength kicks in when they feed.
Further notes[]
Those in Resident Evil 2 added focus to irregular muscle orientation.[2][excerpt 1]
