Monitor

Localization This structure or entity is known in the Original Script as Monitor. However, it appears under the name, "Supervisor" in English localizations.

Monitors represent an internal investigation organization within Umbrella set up to monitor suspicious activity among its employees. Operatives are usually placed throughout the organisation and maintain the image of normal employees to help them conduct their activities. Their orders range from spying on fellow employees and destroying evidence to cleanup operations, including assassinations, as required.

Several monitors were placed within the Umbrella Biohazard Countermeasure Service, namely Nicholai Zinoviev; Tyrell Patrick and Murphy Seeker. During the Raccoon City Destruction Incident, the monitors were tasked with collecting combat data on Umbrella's B.O.W.s as they fought the U.B.C.S.. As the reward for the data was high, Nicholai sought to collect as much data as he could by murdering surviving monitors and stealing their recorded information.
