Mr. Gold is a special character that can be acquired in Resident Evil Outbreak by finding every Special Item in the game. He will be available to purchase in the Gallery for 100,000 points. If the player uses the Data Convert option in Resident Evil Outbreak File #2 he and the others will be made available for only 10,000 points.
Mr. Gold is a Mark-type character, and has the same abilities as Mark Wilkins; these include pushing heavier objects, the "Big Swing" attack with Iron Pipes and similar weapons, a more powerful shoulder shove, and higher Health and stamina than most other characters. Despite his relative thinness, he cannot hide under tables or crawl into holes, mirroring Mark in that aspect as well. Like all the other Mr. and Ms. Color characters, Mr. Gold has passive damage multipliers and can deal more damage with weapons at random intervals. Due to this, most players who play Outbreak online find the use of Mr. Black and similar characters "unsporting".
