Mr. Red was an employee of the Umbrella Corporation who worked in The Hive. Based on his uniform, he was likely an office worker.
Biography[]
Red was working at The Hive on the morning Spence sabotaged the facility, releasing the T-virus as an airborne pathogen. Soon after, the Red Queen computer system detected the virus in the atmosphere, and shut down the elevators, trapping Red, Mr. Grey, Ms. Black and the other inside. With infection inevitable, Red Queen began systematically killing all employees. The elevator occupants would have been the first to be killed, simply being dropped from a large height. When the emergency breaks kicked in, the party were given a brief reprieve until Red Queen noticed the error as Red helped push Black out of the elevator and into the view of the office CCTV camera. Already at a lower level, Red Queen simply sped the elevator up to the top, decapitating Black in the process, and dropped it once more, killing the rest.[1]
