Muneyuki Kotegawa is a former Capcom artist who worked on several titles by Production Studio 4. In 1995 he worked as part of the original Resident Evil's development team where he designed "background object textures".[1] Moving on to Resident Evil 2 in 1996, Kotegawa created the game's pre-rendered backgrounds alongside Mitsuru Kuwahata.[2] Kotegawa continued designing backgrounds for Resident Evil 3: Nemesis.[3]
